Content & Creative Manager

The Content & Creative Manager is responsible for overseeing strategy for the design, layout, and visual impact of materials related to the diocesan brands and mission team and office initiatives. This position works with mission team and office leaders to set strategic goals to complete internal and external focused projects. The manager collaborates with the Office of Communications and Marketing team to develop messaging campaigns to advance the mission of the diocese and coordinates other programmatic tasks as needed.

  • Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field 
  • Experience in Communications/Marketing project management as an account exec or equivalent 
  • Must have a magazine or newspaper background 
  • Strong, working knowledge of communication and marketing platforms 
  • Is a lifelong learner committed to professional development for self and others 
  • Strong understanding of the Catholic faith 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications 
  • Marketing skills, Organization and Planning skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs, Social Media and a variety of e-mail platforms 
  • Basic digital photography & video skills 
  • Management & Supervisory skills 
  • Detail oriented, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Time Management, Confidentiality 
  • Interpersonal relations: collaborates with personnel from other mission teams and offices 
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
