Content Creator

The Team:

The Customer Success Portfolio team is seeking a content writer to help us facilitate our customers’ digital transformation. You will be part of a collaborative, customer-centric team that’s responsible for creating and maintaining a catalog of service offerings & corresponding content that is designed to drive customer adoption and value realization with our software.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain content that helps customers reach their desired business outcomes with PTC products through step-by-step guidance, industry expertise, best practices, and service offerings. 
• Distill complex technical topics into easy-to-understand messages, using plain language. 
• Develop a deep understanding of your audience and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to helping them achieve their goals. 
• Deliver content that meets business and user requirements. 
• Use various research techniques to gather information and requirements: interviewing experts, poring over documentation, etc. 
• Monitor content efficacy. Use data and evidence to learn whether the content is meeting the need and recommend/make adjustments if needed. 
• Copyedit content for grammar, spelling, and style. 
• Upload content into a content management system.

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience writing content for digital channels 
• Degree in communications, journalism, English, technical writing, or a related discipline 
• Strong understanding of web usability and accessibility best practices 
• Comfortable interviewing subject matter experts 
• Strong collaboration skills 
• Experience with a content management system and basic HTML 
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to receive and act on feedback about your work 
• Autonomous 

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in the tech industry 
• Strong organizational skills/ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines 
• Strong active listening abilities 
• Experience working in a B2B environment 
• Experience working as part of a global team
