The Content Creator will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging content that aligns with the school's brand and strategic goals. This role requires a creative individual with strong writing, storytelling, and multimedia skills to develop content for various platforms, including the school's website, social media channels, email campaigns, and print materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development:

  • Write, edit, and publish compelling content for the school's website, social media, newsletters, and other communication channels. 
  • Create engaging multimedia content, including photos, videos, graphics, and infographics with our school photographer. 
  • Develop content that highlights the school's academic programs, extracurricular activities, student achievements, faculty expertise, and community events. 

Social Media Management:

  • Manage and grow the school's social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase engagement and followers.
  • Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Campaign Support:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to plan and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in the creation of promotional materials and advertisements.
  • Track and report on campaign performance and metrics.

Storytelling and Branding:

  • Identify and develop stories that resonate with the school's target audience, including prospective students, parents, alumni, and donors.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with the school's brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with the school community to source content ideas and gather feedback.
  • Work with Marketing Specialist to cover school events, capturing live content and post-event recaps.

SEO and Analytics:

  • Optimize content for SEO to improve the school's online visibility.
  • Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of content and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in content creation, preferably in an educational setting. 
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and analytics tools. 
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools. 
  • Strong storytelling abilities and a keen eye for detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices. 
  • Experience in photography and video production. 
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Hubspot). 
  • Understanding of boarding school environments and culture.
