Do you like to read children's books? We are currently seeking hardworking writers to build multiple-choice quizzes for fiction and nonfiction books used by pre-K through grade 12 students. This is a full-time remote position. Content Designers read digital books or selections and create content for reading-assessment products and perform related duties as assigned.

Successful candidates will have outstanding writing skills, be proficient in grammar, have experience with multiple-choice assessments, and be able to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or proven writing or content design experience 
  • Experience writing multiple-choice items or assessments is beneficial

The ideal candidate will have:

  • The ability to read, analyze and interpret a wide range of titles and write valid and reliable multiple-choice assessments with readability levels appropriate for grades K-3, 4-8 and/or 9-12 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills 
  • A solid understanding of grammar, mechanics, usage and spelling 
  • Basic computer knowledge, including experience working with e-readers, Microsoft Office, Google Suite and other web-based tools 
  • Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to adapt to changes and new procedures 
  • Experience working under pressure to meet deadlines 
  • The capacity to accept, internalize, and provide constructive feedback
