The Content Designer will produce a wide range of creative content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn, as well as forblogs, apps and more. For integrated programs, this person may also play a role in the design of campaign landing pages, online content hubs, web content and HTML emails.
On any given day this person might:
- Design and develop social and PR content Manage a social digital library
- Collaborate with copy writer and assist in ideation and development of social media content calendars
- Review and meet on creative briefs and brand strategies
- Select, repurpose and optimize audios, graphics and other stock assets
- Produce and edit short videos and add after-effects
- Photoshop and resize images for web and mobile on various social platforms
- Identify and work with outside vendors and software providers
- Learn new motion graphics and video editing techniques
- Take photos and videos in the agency’s content studio and color correct/grade assets
- Design agency new business presentations
- Collaborate with social, earned and paid media as well as creative leaders, strategists, developers, client service, and project managers to design achievable concepts and participate in quality control processes to ensure optimal results
- Investigate and share new trends, tools, and techniques in the field of social and digital design
- Update and maintain workflows for creating, editing, publishing, and retiring social media content
- Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries
