The role of the Content Manager at FCB is to ensure that Client and Agency digital assets are properly organized and stored to ensure they are accessible in formats required and desired. This is a critical Role for FCB as it establishes the foundation for high performing creativity and an agile, efficient workflow. It also has an important impact on economizing digital asasets for both cost and environmental goals.

This position requires a highly organized individual who is knowledgeable about Agency and Client priorities, deliverables and content systems. It also requires understanding of file types and differentiating between working files and review files. It requires being able to communicate with tech teams and then succinctly relaying information back to clients and agency team members in a simplified manner. The role is an individual contributor role which calls for performing detailed tasks such as: ingesting, annotating, and cataloging motion and still image files.

the position:

  • Researches and advises on different content management solutions based on business and creative objectives in a titmely manner. 
  • Collaborates effectively with a broad range of internal stakeholders such as IT, Finance, Account, Production and Digital Development to help define and author Data Governance policies, process, best practices and recommendations.
  • Creates, contributes, and/or manages internal and client metadata policies and Asset Management policies. Writes best practice documentation when required.
  • Design asset metadata schemas to support client requirements for classification, findability, and security. 
  • Evaluates system performance, the level of customer satisfaction, and provide suggestions for improvements. 
  • Uploads and tag digital assets on internal DAM systems as well as client DAM systems. 
  • Provides Training and Support to DAM users – internally or client facing. 
  • Oversees the migration and proper metadata tagging of content in the DAM, and ensures assets are cataloged in an accurate, consistent, and timely manner. 
  • Ultimately accountable for a holistic and accurate archive strategy for all of FCB's finished work. 
  • Acts as a point of contact for DAM-related external technology partners and consultants. 
  • Works closely with Business Affairs to ensure archive is current, meets master quality specs, and mirrors delivery. 
  • Works closely with our internal studios and our agency producers to make sure that all original content that is produced is tagged and uploaded to our DAM. 
  • It is very important that this role stay current on evolving asset management technologies to shape recommendations for classification, workflows, rights management, analytics, and AI features.

the personality:

  • 3-5 years of Digital Asset Management and data entry experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of video, print, digital production workflow and associated assets. 
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills. 
  • Experience resolving issues with senior level management. 
  • Reliable attention to detail and accuracy, critical thinking skills, project management skills, and succinct communicator. 
  • Able to work independently as well as cross-functionally with many departments within our agency.
