The Content Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations & workflow of content updates on RadissonHotels.com website and app.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve the quality, design & usability of web content to increase revenue and sales. 
  • Lead Content Team & oversee the definition, development & implementation of web content policies, procedures, & standards. 
  • Develop and maintain the standards for writing on the web including tone, voice and style, adhering to corporate writing & brand guidelines, and where appropriate, integrate ongoing listening. 
  • Support internal department requests & goals for time-sensitive content updates (ie; B2C and B2B promotions) as well as small & large project requests. 
  • Partner with IT to improve content management system to increase workflow efficiency & effectively support future growth. 
  • Ensure content on brand web sites conforms to search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, which improves search engine rankings & increases traffic from search engines.
  • Implement localization strategy to ensure content experience is optimized for local language preferences. 
  • Ensure consistency of content across multiple platforms and digital communication channels. 
  • Monitor websites on an ongoing basis to ensure content is of a uniformly high quality. 
  • Track new content development needs as required by member interest, program focus, product development, etc. 
  • Manage current and future vendor(s) responsible for providing web content, maintenance support and translations.
  • Manage content budget and invoicing. 

Requirements:

  • Experience managing complex workflows and multi-tasking under pressure while meeting deadlines. 
  • Experience in guiding and working in a collaborative environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, English or Journalism preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of web and app content management systems; strong knowledge of website infrastructure and usability. 
  • 5+ years of experience as a web communications manager / publisher / specialist / editor. 
  • Professional experience and skill in marketing, web editing and writing. 
  • Experience in client relations management, people management & vendor management.
  • Strong understanding and experience in corporate branding, sensitivity to outstanding design and an understanding for the web design process. 
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills. 
  • Proven ability to build consensus and collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
