Role Description:

Analyse rich data and insights and create impactful thought leadership for the world’s leading data analytics and brand consulting firm. Reporting to the North American VP of Content and Communications, the Content Marketing manager will analyse data, identify trends and author deliverables including whitepapers, blog posts, presentations and more.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Play a leading role in the development of Kantar thought leadership by coordinating and writing regular thought leadership pieces – ranging from whitepapers to blog posts – that showcase Kantar’s data and capabilities. 
  • Use Kantar research products such as Advertising Insights, Express Surveys and LinkAI and tools such as Tableau and Excel to run reports, analyse data sets, identify trends, and brainstorm story angles for use in thought leadership pieces, sample reports and marketing campaigns. 
  • Create compelling presentations for use in sales pitches and webinars incorporating Kantar insights. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on content distribution through the website and other channels such as social 
  • Pitch in as needed with content activation and general marketing responsibilities, such as helping to post content on the Kantar website and draft and prepare emails in marketing automation systems

Personal characteristics and skills:

  • A true team player – a person who works well with others and is viewed as a collaborative, valuable and important contributor 
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a creative edge – with a good instinct on how to bring a story to life. 
  • Resilience and tenacity – able to remain effective and focused and get stuff done! 
  • Ability to use data analysis and mining tools to analyse large data sets and extract a story 
  • Digital marketing experience (email marketing, online advertising, Web sites) 
  • Excellent project and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience at an agency, media company or research vendor 
  • Analysis and writing experience

Qualifications:

  • Degree or degree equivalent 
  • Proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint and other MS Office tools; Tableau experience a plus 
  • Experience with marketing automation like Hubspot/Pardot and web content management tools such as Sitecore a plus 
  • Fluency in English – verbal and written. Additional languages are always helpful.
