AANA is seeking a passionate Content Marketing Manager who will guide content marketing strategy; facilitate ongoing content planning; manage content creation, editing and promotion; and report on the results of each content marketing initiative. The Content Marketing Manager works with subject matter experts throughout the organization to curate and create multi-channel content to drive engagement and position our brand in the healthcare marketplace. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing content planning, as well as skills in copywriting and SEO.

This position reports directly to the Marketing Director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops timely and engaging content optimized for appropriate platform and intended audience; optimizes existing content tracks, including online, social media, email, press releases, mobile, video, print and in-person 
  • Develops and executes a multichannel content marketing strategy to grow brand awareness and amplify our mission and the stories of CRNAs to new and existing audiences 
  • Achieves a goal of creating a library of interesting and helpful content designed to attract, engage, and convert target audiences 
  • Works cross-departmentally to develop and manage a functional content calendar for each channel, segmented by audience; ensures project timelines are met and that the end results showcases our brand 
  • Helps develop an SEO strategy by identifying keywords and executing search optimization strategies to improve our organic reach and grow engagement 
  • Tracks and measures content marketing analytics to identify trends and guide marketing decisions; measures campaign outcomes and maintains dashboards to help evolve organizational and marketing strategies 
  • Maintains team priorities while thriving in a deadline-driven environment; supports collaboration between departments on projects and workflow

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, English or related field 
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, with 2+ years in a content marketing role 
  • Must be an excellent storyteller — with the ability to synthesize content to its most engaging format; capable of generating compelling, persuasive and bold content 
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing and project management skills 
  • Ability to gauge content effectiveness by data-gathering and fostering recommendations 
  • Strong track record with meeting tight deadlines 
  • Strong organization and time management skills 
  • Strong strategic planning abilities and critical thinking skills 
  • Flexible, collaborative, adaptable to change 
  • Ability to work well and communicate with staff at all levels of the association
