The Association of Equipment Manufacturers is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to take the lead on creating compelling and thoughtful content programs that drive organic audience acquisition and engage audiences.
You are a brand evangelist, strategic planner, and passionate storyteller who will embrace voice-of-customer and establish an authentic tone with our audience. You are comfortable researching, listening and learning so that you can create an overall content strategy.
Specifically, you will establish a content strategy for each channel (newsletter, search, social, video, and podcast); identify format, tone, topics and sources to optimize each channel; listen to audiences to understand VOC and challenges faced then create original content that addresses and solves those challenges; build and manage an editorial calendar; find new ways to extend and repurpose existing content; manage social media profiles, engage with social audiences, develop and leverage super fans, and respond to community comments; establish strategic relationships with industry influencers; identify new communities to nurture that align marketing targets; integrate content, social, and influencer strategies into in-person events; collaborate with the Event Marketing leads; write, edit and proofread content; manage the budget and performance reporting; and develop and support new revenue opportunities and audience monetization, including ad-supported traffic, sponsored content, education programming, and event registration.
