Purpose:

The Content Marketing Specialist will create high-quality content to engage our targeted audiences through integrated storytelling across digital properties, including web, social, blog, email, and other owned/paid/earned media channels. Content will be created with a customer-first, digital mindset to drive leads and conversions while building the Andersen brand.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, edit and publish compelling and relevant content accross channels to support the integrated marketing plan and inspire, educate and convert our targeted audiences. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SMEs and internal/external resources to create content and lead projects from concept through production. 
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time in a dynamic, nimble environment, and deliver content on time and on budget. 
  • Leverage SEO in the development process to optimize content. 
  • Collaborate with the digital team to effectively distribute content and leverage the editorial content calendar and other tools to manage the content process. 
  • Ensure content is on brand and carries Andersen’s brand visual, voice and tone consistently. 
  • Leverage/conduct industry and competitive research in addition to evaluating digital content marketing trends to ensure Andersen's content is different and better than the competition and is relevant, compelling and impactful in helping our target audiences navigate through the purchase process. 
  • Secondary agency contact for content marketing purposes. Role will collaborate with delivery partners but not have direct reports.
  • Four-year marketing degree. 
  • Minimum 3 years of content marketing experience with a proven track record. delivering results. 
  • Customer-first, data-driven, digital mindset. 
  • Experience in writing, editing or graphic design. 
  • Creative and collaborative, open to new ideas and offers thoughtful insight to take work to the next level. 
  • Strong project management skills. 
  • Self-starter and organized with a strong ability to execute on time and on budget. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to promote a brand and drive sales by creating relevant, compelling, and impactful content. 
  • Strategic thinker. 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills (to Executives, with Marketing peers, and to external audiences).
