This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing content to help build brand awareness and generate interest in Appleton Group. This role will report to the Content Marketing Manager. The role will create & develop marketing content such as brochures, catalog pages, data sheets, press releases, customer success stories, newsletters, imagery, advertisements, web content, and other collateral to support marketing campaigns and sales enablement for Appleton Group brands. Success will be measured based upon the ability to generate innovative ideas and create content that increases engagement with the business and brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, write, edit, and design clear and compelling marketing content for various communication channels including print, digital, video, web, and social media
  • Design templates and standard for literature, email, newsletters and other communications
  • Create and layout graphics, illustrations, imagery, and video for multi-channel campaigns and brand communications and sales enablement
  • Coordinate with product marketing, sales and other stakeholders to define needs for product promotion and sales enablement
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels, including online, email, mobile, video, and print
  • Maintain and organize digital library and develop/comply with versioning process
  • Coordinate activities and projects with outside vendors including advertising agency, printers, photographers, literature fulfillment, direct mail, etc.
  • Create and update web content using appropriate keywords to take advantage of SEO benefits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, or related field Excellent written and verbal skills 
  • Able to work across functions and businesses in a global organization
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail including proofing, grammar and spelling
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple deadline-orientated projects
  • Ability to produce and present multiple creative solutions to given assignments
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) required

Preferred Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of marketing communications or design experience
  • Understanding of aesthetics and design to convey effective messaging
  • Experience developing and creating high quality marketing collateral and other branded content.
  • Project management experience
