Content Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

Do you dream in Adobe? Is social media second nature? Are you passionate about creating innovative and effective content? Margle is a growing social and digital marketing agency and we’re looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our creative team. Our ideal candidate is an agile self-starter who is well versed in creative for sponsored and organic social content. They will have strong motion graphic design experience using After Effects, Premier and the like. This individual will possess strong sensitivity and passion for design through typography, color, brand identity and motion.   • Collaborate with the greater team including: editors, account management, support services, and clients to develop smart and effective creative solutions.
  • Ideation, development and iteration of sponsored ad and organic creative content on behalf of both Margle and our clients.
  • Generate and inspire fresh thinking and take concepts across the finish line from idea to reality.
  • Assist in presentation development and delivery, both internally and externally.
  • Assist in photo/video shoots and development of motion graphic elements for video content.
  • Lead Margle’s external marketing initiatives under the direction of leadership.
  • Ideate design and develop with the nuances of different individual social media platforms in mind (ex: FB, IG, Snap, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, et. al.)
  • Work within establish process-flows while always looking for efficiencies and alternatives.
  • Translate a strong understanding of human behavior, motivations and drivers into engaging content across platforms.
  • Stay relevant and up to date with emerging trends at the intersection of social / digital media and creative expression.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Extremely proficient in the following computer programs: Adobe CC software: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, G-Suite, After Effects.
  • Familiarity with design for the social space and understanding of human engagement on social and digital platforms; understanding social media advertising best practices.
  • Illustration and animation skills are considered a huge plus.
  • Experience designing for websites (mobile-first) is considered a huge plus
  • A systematic thinker who plans ahead (works smarter not harder)
  • Experience designing Organic/Paid content and understanding the difference
  • High regard for quality/craft attention to the details
  • Ability to synthesize the analytical and creative to produce beautiful and effective work.
  • Understands that, in agency life, art is a tool to solve a problem and that the work isn't done until the work is done.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • 5+ Years of experience within Design, Advertising, Marketing (or equivalent) firm is required.

This is a full-time position. Workdays will require flexibility and a sense of urgency to meet customer’s needs.  Benefits include Heatlh Insurance, Paid Time off and Paid Holidays, Health Savings Account and a great work/life balance. 

Compensation is in the range of $50-60,000 annually and will be based on experience.
