We are seeking an inventive, Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing business. In this position, you will be responsible for design and development of visual and written content. Working with other team members, you will create product content, manage sample programs, and creative assets to ensure alignment with the sales and brand strategy. The Content Marketing Specialist also assists with the implementation of strategic marketing plans through coordination. This position is a hybrid with work both in office and at home.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, design, and produce effective product collateral, case studies and presentations for internal and external use 
  • Create content with the purpose of illustrating important information and translating complex findings and materials into easy-to-understand text 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager on executing initiatives that appeal to target audience by using appropriate channels such as email, social media and traditional media 
  • Maintain consistent messaging and enforce brand guidelines across all markets and channels 
  • Organize content for distribution via publications, websites, social media and other venues 
  • Assist with photography and videography by coordinating photo and video shoots through external agencies/vendors 
  • Manage print and digital asset inventory to ensure brand alignment across all marketing channels 
  • Manage organization of Brandfolder, swag, giveaways, and physical samples 
  • Keep content/campaign/project calendars updated 
  • Plan, manage, and execute event logistics for assigned events, plant tours, open houses, and tradeshows 
  • Meet deadlines and communicate with internal and external resources to ensure timeliness

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications design or related field

Experience:

  • 2+ years of marketing, content curation, or communication design experience 
  • Graphic design experience 
  • Writing copy for print, web/digital, and social media 
  • High attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multi-task 
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to work with remote co-workers 
  • Well versed in product collateral and case study development 
  • The ability to wear many hats—we’re a small team!

Software Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Intermediate-level Excel and above 
  • Experience with websites and graphic design required (Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, WordPress, social media, etc.) 
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects a plus

Nice-To-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce or Similar CRM 
  • Experience with Pardot or similar email marketing automation platform 
  • Working knowledge of HTML, Java Script and CSS 
  • Experience in B2B company or Manufacturing Organization
