The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development of compelling content and messaging. This individual develops content such as blogs, websites, email campaigns, social media, press releases, advertisements, print materials and other mediums as necessary, working with subject matter experts as needed. Additionally, this individual assists with the development of content distribution strategies to maximize the reach of new content to key target audiences and maintains the content publishing schedule.

This position can be based out of: Waukesha, WI | Maple Grove, MN | Brighton, CO

  • Generate original, creative writing for blogs, website, promotional materials, award submissions, social media, PR and other marketing assets,including proofreading, formatting editing, printing, and delivery 
  • Interview and interface with key subject matter experts to develop technically accurate and engaging content 
  • Develop and maintain content publishing calendar, processes, and strategies 
  • Create, review and edit other materials as needed 
  • Research new content distribution strategies and opportunities 
  • Coordinate, draft and post on social media, maintain an engaging and clear brand voice 
  • Assists in planning, supporting, and/or implementing other marketing tasks as needed
  • Minimum of three (3) combined years of experience writing for internal communications, marketing, Public Relations (PR), and/or social media 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment 
  • Demonstrated desire to work and collaborate with others on development of messaging 
  • Ability to work independently with wide range of business stakeholders 
  • A strong problem-solver mindset 
  • Experience utilizing MS Office, Adobe software, and CMS systems 
  • Familiarity with marketing automation systems a bonus, but not required 
  • Deadline and detail-oriented 
  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications or related field) or equivalent education/experience
