The Content Specialist is responsible for writing and editing marketing materials across digital and print channels to support business lines and corporate initiatives. This role will report to Manager, Content Strategy, and will partner closely with marketing staff, external vendors, and other key business partners throughout the company. We are looking for an organized individual who also has a curious, creative mindset that can dive into the details to get things done quickly.

  • Execute B2B and B2C multi-channel content strategy that supports marketing campaigns across every point of the customer journey
  • Develop engaging, relevant content that is consistent with the brand image and addresses both business goals and customer needs
  • Implement SEO best practices and adhere to brand voice, style and tone
  • Create content for digital and print marketing materials, including email, landing pages, microsites, blogs, display and search ads, social media, reports, infographics, newsletters, video scripts and any other content as needed
  • Maintain editorial calendars and project management tasks to develop and manage workflows to meet editorial and campaign deadlines
  • Contribute content ideas and pitch content that supports the overall content marketing strategy
  • Proofread and edit content
  • Implement content industry trends and best practices
  • Work with third party vendors, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related
  • 5-7 years of applicable experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong writing, editing and proofreading
  • Strong knowledge of AP style and SEO best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; particularly, Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Hootsuite (or similar), Content Management Systems and project management tools 
  • Team player with the ability to bring creative energy, share thoughts and ideas, and possess a positive attitude 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines 
  • Experience working with compliance and legal teams preferred
