Position Details

Content Specialist
Southwest Wisconsin
Waunakee, WI

This person works in cooperation with the Marketing Manager and marketing team to execute B2B marketing strategies for NORD. Creates and executes marketing programs such as email campaigns, landing pages, and promotions. Cooperates with internal team members to create written, image, and video content for landing pages, emails, advertising, social media, etc. Utilizes PIM and CMS to post general content, press releases (news), literature, etc. on accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible for improving content, including optimization for SEO and identifying new ways to engage with our customers to improve overall customer satisfaction. This role engages with the marketing, product, engineering, training, and sales teams, as well as with key contacts at the global corporate office in Germany.

  • Execute digital marketing initiatives using FirstSpirit (CMS), ContentServ (PIM), HubSpot (Email/Social Media), and other tools 
  • Identify opportunities, coordinate, shoot, and edit video content 
  • Create product, event, and general web content to support engineering, training, and sales activities 
  • Proofread translations for accuracy and post to appropriate channels, as required 
  • Complete other tasks as needed, such as report generation, distributor marketing activities, and support of special events and internal activities. 
  • Set and meet marketing project deadlines, providing timely results and accurate materials 
  • Contribute to improving our teamwork, work processes, tools, and results 
  • Provide positive and professional conduct and interactions
  • Education: 4 year college degree
  • Experience: 5+ years of marketing with emphasis on content creation for product launches, application-specific initiatives, internal/external email campaigns, and trade shows. Experience promoting a technical product or service. 5+ years of experience executing digital marketing plans and managing projects. Ability to self-manage. Experience desired: HubSpot, MS Dynamics CRM, CMS/PIM systems, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere). Knowledge of NORD products, competitors, and customer applications is desired. Project management experience in a B2B OEM or power transmission industry and HTML code knowledge are extremely beneficial.
  • Skills and Key Attributes: High level of organization, project coordination, and computer skills. Skilled in communications, online marketing, and website content management. Flexible to changing requirements, ability to multi-task, learn quickly, professional and positive, team player. Ability to be self-managed, excellent problem-solving skills, creative, adaptive, and assertive.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a desk for 8+ hours a day. Lifting of 20 lbs. or less may be required.
