Position Details

Content Strategist

This new Content Strategist will be joining our team of mission-driven creatives, communicators, and strategists to challenge the status quo and bring visibility and engagement to our global brand. Supporting our US based team, you will be responsible for blueprinting and executing e-mail campaigns, creating engaging content and strategy pillars across mutli-platforms for the UK, Canada and the US, and working alongside our digital team to build out advertising, web-based and digital marketing creatives. What you will do:

  • Develop a strong understanding of our industry, and the unique role our company plays in making healthcare safer. 
  • Support SEO/SEM initiatives and write informative and effective search engine optimized copy for global websites, advertisements and landing pages 
  • Identify content subject matter experts and authors, support the creation of content, and manage the content workflow and processes. 
  • Maintain a targeted content/editorial calendar that drives traffic and engagement across the full spectrum of our digital properties (including articles, blog posts and newsletters).
  • Create, configure and edit email campaigns, working closely with our inside sales team for deployment 
  • Support our digital strategist with the creation and optimization of PPC content 
  • Support with blueprinting and integrating new marketing automation channels for scalability and targeting

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 2-3 years of marketing and content experience 
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker with an ability to use data to inform strategy 
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone and voice of our business across multiple content platforms 
  • Strong editorial capabilities, with the ability to conduct interviews in written or verbal form to support creation of content from subject matter experts 
  • Comfortable providing feedback to senior-level expert content contributors, and being able to edit other writers’ content 
  • Comfortable working with senior-level individuals and teams within our organization; skilled in working cross-functionally. 
  • Nice to have but not necessary: Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo, Outreach etc)
