We’re looking for an experienced, client-facing copywriter to join our fun, fast-paced, and forward-thinking agency in Northeast Wisconsin. Our ideal teammate is a creative thinker and wordsmith with a natural curiosity to learn about a variety of products and businesses.

How you’ll make an impact: 

You approach each client brief with fresh eyes, create and produce work that is distinctive, effective, and truly inspiring. You are a quick learner and can easily adapt to writing copy for all mediums, formats, industries, and audiences. With a basic understanding of SEO principles, you have a strong grasp on how to write scroll-stopping copy that convinces, converts, and creates loyalty. You seamlessly move from blue-sky concepting and content strategy, to tactical editing and proofing. You’re able to juggle multiple projects that command your attention to detail, creativity, and strategic execution.

This position is available to work remotely or from either our De Pere, WI or Neenah, WI office.

• Produce optimized and engaging copy for client websites, social media channels, and digital promotions 
• Create copy for print and digital marketing materials, including emails, blogs, sales collateral, whitepapers, and more 
• Develop scripts and storyboards that tell meaningful brand stories in short-form and long-form video formats 
• Running and/or interpreting keyword analysis on Google Analytics and Search Console to determine interesting content angles, hooks, and series 
• Collaborate with creatives to write clear, engaging, and benefit-driven copy for client solutions, products, and services 
• Brainstorm fresh, out-of-the-box ideas in support of client briefs 
• Proofread and edit all copy; maintain brand integrity and voice when delivering work to clients 
• Meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and assure accuracy and completeness across projects 
• Lead and facilitate brainstorms in partnership with the Creative Team to produce engaging campaigns for clients

• 2-3 years of copywriting experience or a degree in English, Journalism, or Communications 
• Agency experience strongly preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of SEO writing and best practices 
• Strong foundation in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Strong time and project management skills 
• Attention to detail and high-integrity work ethic 
• Excellent oral and written communications skills 
• Receptive to feedback and coachable to meet client requests 
• Exceptional research and interview skills 
• The ability to work within allocated budgets 
• A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of the client 
• A self-starter with a hardcore work ethic 
• Content Management System experience preferred, but not required
