Copy Editor

Bader Rutter is looking for a Copy Editor to join our growing team! This position is an integral part of our proofreading department.

The copy editor reviews completed drafts of documents and layouts and will engage with other agency associates responsible for content development to identify ill-advised writing approach and consistency issues. The copy editor also provides general proofreading activity identifying general errors and mistakes, ensuring that the content for client projects are correctly spelled and are grammatically correct. They will maintain a set of client-specific guidelines for all communications as well as legal statements and trademark rules required for all client communications and ensures that content is consistent across multiple communication components.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of previous copy editing/proofreading experience. This individual must understand grammar and punctuation and AP Style is critical. This position requires someone who has worked in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment.
