Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the guardian of the brand voice for all Team Sports categories ensuring every touch point is consistently on brand and to brand standard
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to teammates (Marketing, Product/R&D, Commercial) throughout the development of marketing and product launch plans to ensure all touch points and expressions are aligned with Team Sports strategic pillars, brand equity and business objectives
Own the development of all Team Sports consumer and internal facing communications to ensure the foundational brand strategy is translated in a relevant and inspiring way
Write channel-right, accurate copy that delivers on our objectives:
- Understand the demands of SEO and Revuze platform to deliver copy that effectively utilizes key words and phrases seamlessly
- Understand the difference between D2C and D2X to deliver targeted copy to unique audiences
- Vary tone and language messages based on medium, target audience and product while maintaining the Wilson brand voice
Manage and mentor a team of content creators to ensure high levels of engagement and performance in the work as well as lead others to develop mastery of a range of content and strategic methodologies and tools used by the group.
Provide input and recommendations to the annual brand marketing plans & product pipeline
