Copywriter

Our fun retail client is seeking an engaging storyteller, with a passion for writing, to develop engaging, on-brand copy for omni-channel marketing efforts.

Ideal candidate must be able to think conceptually, provide quick creative solutions, take charge of multiple projects, and write compelling copy that is backed by marketing strategy.

This opportunity will sit on-site at an exciting and bustling Menomonee HQ.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure brand voice is maintained while delivering compelling copy and creative solutions for marketing channels
• Work closely with art directors, designers, and identified partners to develop content
• Adhere to standard copy practices
• Edit copy to reflect changes from requests and reviews
• Work autonomously and adhere to production schedules
• Have the attitude of wanting to create inspirational and engaging content
• Be open to other projects such as researching + gathering inspiration + brainstorming, coming up with multiple ideas 

This is an ongoing contract role which can extend if things are going well.

• An up-to-date portfolio showng promotional type writing samples, ads, campaigns, with large brand work
• A portfolio showing concepting, content, strong storytelling skills
• 3+ years of professional writing experience.
• Strong grasp of grammar and style with proven copywriting ability
• Solid ideation and communication skills
• BA in English, journalism, communications or related subject
• Background or interest in fashion and retail helpful
