The Job at a Glance:

The Copywriter (known internally as the Singer of the Brand) will work directly with the Senior Copywriter and entire Creative department to develop copy for a wide variety of marketing projects (and more)! You will collaborate with multiple areas of our business on various marketing projects and adapt to evolving priorities. You will produce and proofread high-quality copy across our organization to ensure our message is on brand and stands out! When was the last time you said something clever and witty? Seconds ago? Do you walk through your day thinking, “That would make a fantastic story!”? If you answered yes,we can’t wait to meet you!

A Typical Day:

  • Continuously collaborating and brainstorming with multiple departments to fully understand campaign/project objectives. 
  • Executing creative briefs for Parts Town within deadlines given. 
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to company priorities. 
  • Editing, proofreading, and writing copy (written by the team and/or yourself). 
  • Ensuring the final copy has no errors, is on brand, and matches the original brief.

To Land This Opportunity:

  • You exemplify the Parts Town core values: Safety, Integrity, Passion, Courage, Innovation, and Community! 
  • You have at least 3+ year(s) of marketing experience or a Bachelor’s degree in English/Journalism/Creative Writing/Marketing. Knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style is a plus! 
  • You are curious, adaptable, and accept constructive feedback with dignity. 
  • You have a genuine positive, outgoing, team spirited, one-for-all personality! 
  • You’re eager to learn the voice of the Parts Town brand and “speak” it across all communications! 
  • You’re proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of social media platforms. 
  • You’re an all-star communicator, fluent in written and verbal English. 
  • You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
