Sterling Bay is seeking an experienced and talented Copywriter to join the firm’s growing marketing team. This individual will have a passion for storytelling and developing and executing creative results that consistently and clearly communicate the Sterling Bay voice, positioning and messaging through all brand channels. As a leader in the real estate space, Sterling Bay is known for creating innovative developments that redefine the standard for excellence. Together with the marketing and communications team, the Copywriter will be responsible for telling the firm’s story across multiple channels – and to multiple audiences – as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in real estate development.


  • Maintain and ensure consistent brand voice for Sterling Bay (internally and externally) 
  • Write and concept for all Sterling Bay channels, including website, email, digital, social, and print 
  • Own, maintain and ensure consistent brand voice across all channels and in marketing materials 
  • Develop copy and ideas that reflect and support the company’s strategy 
  • Lead copy development and bring creative campaigns to life across owned channels 
  • Collaborate with internal creative members and work with external agencies to create fully integrated campaigns 
  • Audit and enhance existing channel copy for consistency and cross-channel alignment 
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with key stakeholders 
  • Proof and edit marketing collateral including leasing presentations, external communications, press releases and more
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience as a copywriter 
  • Exceptional communications, writing, editorial and research skills 
  • Ability to tell stories and to craft clear, credible copy in a variety of mediums 
  • Understanding of SEO best practices 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with an affinity for working in a fast-paced environment
