Trek is seeking a PR Copywriter to write and edit press releasesand other PR and marketing materials. Our ideal candidate is a quick study with a knack for writing engaging, concise copy that's consistently on brand. Impeccable editing is essential, along with the ability to turn out great copy under deadline pressure. Bike industry experience is a plus, but not a must.

PR copy 35%

  • Write and edit press releases and other PR announcements. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contacts at key media outlets.

Marketing copy 35%

  • Write and edit marketing emails, articles forthe Stories section of trekbikes.com, and other marketing copy. 
  • Edit marketing copy written byother members of the marketing team.

Miscellaneous copy 20%

  • Assist other departments (HR, sales, etc.)with their writing and editing needs as workload allows.  

Product copy 10%

  • Assist with writing and editing of annual product copy when demand is high and workload allows.

Must have excellent writing skills and prior copywriting experience.  BS required, preferably in Journalism, PR, English, Creative Writing or related field.
