WRC provides reinsurance programs specifically designed for each client company. The three subsidiaries consist of 1st Auto and Casualty Insurance Company, WRC Agency, and Wisconsin Adjusting Service, Inc. Each subsidiary provides services to our clients as follows: 1st Auto and Casualty Insurance Company provides automobile, umbrella, and other complementary insurance products. Wisconsin Adjusting Service, Inc. (WASI) assists client Mutual companies in adjusting liability claims. WRC Agency assists our client company agents in finding coverage for a broad spectrum of insurance products as well as hard to place risks not normally insured in the standard marketplace. Assists in the development and production of communication materials related to branding and marketing of The WRC Group for both internal and external audience.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Produce original graphic design of effective and innovative communication materials, delivered through a variety of modalities. Includes new pieces as well as updating.
  • Assist with daily website administration on a WordPress platform, including updating and revising content on public and secure side, uploading documents and user permissions approval.
  • Assist with corporate branding: enforcing and producing materials for business units to ensure consistent corporate branding is applied throughout all communications and materials including Internet, Intranet, marketing materials, training, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Assist in design of newsletters and email marketing pieces.
  • Edit and proofread content for newsletter, website, and advertising materials as part of design and delivery process.
  • Update mailing and emailing lists as needed.
  • Create production schedules for tracking deliverables for print and electronic publications.
  • Assure timely production and delivery of all communication materials on deadline.
  • Ensure that appropriate files of brands and logos of The WRC Group are used by vendors for use in communication materials being created for the company.
  • Coordinate with business units to keep Intranet communications timely and current.
  • Maintain media library of photographic, video, and other visual and written assets with appropriate usage permissions.
  • Maintain blog content calendar with resource assignments.
  • Stays appraised of current best practices and seeks to learn about new or emerging modes of communication and how they could be applied to The WRC Group. 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creation and maintenance of the corporate eLearning programs.
  • Provide photography support for corporate events.
  • Serve as backup to Corporate Communications Manager.

Education/Skills Requirement:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
  • Minimum three years of communications/marketing or graphic design experience preferred.
  • WordPress administration experience.
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 applications.
  • Proficient Graphic Design using Adobe Creative Suite tools in particular InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of print production preparation and formatting for print vendors.
  • Excellent writing, spelling, and proofreading skills.
  • Detail oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects with deadlines.

Annual salary $45,000-$50,000
