Join our team as a Corporate Communications Manager! This job is a mid-career level professional job in the corporate communications function within CGI's corporate communications group. A successful incumbent is expected to build, grow and manage internal and/or external online community relationships across a variety of online platforms to generate brand awareness, encourage loyalty to the organization and increase engagement of target audiences, and maintain media connections. Requires 4-6 Years of relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. This job has no direct reports.This position isbased at ourglobal headquarters,in Oak Brook, IL.

Corporate Communications Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop social media strategy and campaigns for the corporate brand and select c-suite executives. 
  • Advise the social media and internet teams for matters of promotion of partnerships, major launches, issue resolution and crisis; maintain direct responsibility for activation of the online corporate brand expression. 
  • Plan and implement efforts to demonstrate the organization's commitment to corporate social responsibility including giving and volunteerism programs. 
  • Coordinate media relations and prepares media communications. 
  • Plan, prepare and relay information concerning the organization to the press and the wider community to gain understanding and acceptance for the organization. 
  • Develop and maintain lines of communication with media contacts and other external audience groups. 
  • Manage the budget for and coordinate internal and external social responsibility programs and activities for all internal groups. 
  • Review the impact of the organization's social responsibility programs and activities on key stakeholders.

Corporate Communications Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study – Communications or Marketing preferred. 
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
