Position Summary:

In the Corporate Communication Manager position, you’ll help us evolve our internal and external corporate communication strategy and drive brand awareness, growth, and expansion across our target markets - and of course, keep us ahead of the competition! You will also get to work across all levels and departments of our organization to identify unique value propositions and develop our cross-market and cross-channel corporate brand campaign roadmap. The right person for this role will be a skillful strategist, creative and collaborative writer that’s passionate about creating innovative brand campaigns that drive results!

  • Delivers creative and polished written communications, including the ability to weave storytelling and human-centered, inclusive language into messaging to personalize the narrative and capture Direct Supply’s unique culture and values. 
  • Proven ability to develop a corporate brand vision and strategy, translate it into actionable initiatives and drive successful delivery. 
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders. 
  • Leverages and draws insights from customer data and market research to inform strategies and data-driven decisions. 
  • Projects a strong executive presence with the ability to present ideas, make recommendations, provide rationale for strategy direction, and advise senior leaders and executives on communications. 
  • Prioritizes effectively and can manage competing priorities and deliver within defined timelines while also ensuring strong attention to detail and consistent updates are provided where needed. 
  • Ability to work independently, exercise discretion and use experience, common sense and judgment to solve complex issues and problems. 
  • Ability to lead the work and participate in doing the work to demonstrate next-level thinking.

What You’ll Do and Impact:

  • Develop and execute a forward-looking corporate brand campaign roadmap that consistently positions Direct Supply ahead and unique to anyone in our competitive landscape. 
  • Own and manage corporate brand vision, voice, value propositions, and brand and style guidelines; create run rules and versioning to support market types as needed. 
  • Meet with stakeholders across the business regularly to keep a constant pulse on our offerings, proof points/examples to support our value props and differentiators, innovation roadmaps, and industry news. 
  • Simplify and translate strategic priorities, performance, philosophy and industry trends into coherent stories and messages in an authentic voice. 
  • Develop the portfolio of available corporate marketing materials, including governance, maintenance, creation of new pieces, and distribution; proactively gain buy-in and drive deliverable usage across the organization. 
  • Support the strategy and own the creation of corporate social media content, third party advertising, and media inquiries/press releases. 
  • Develop and manage Corporate/HR content strategy and development of both internal and external recruitment communications, ensuring consistent strategy, voice, messaging, and branding. 
  • Manage multi-faceted projects, including coordinating and managing several projects simultaneously.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience managing a brand across multiple markets in a marketing communications or public relations role 
  • Experience leveraging and managing a variety of marketing channels and media types to drive results. 
  • Proven track record of creating highly engaging, customer-focused content utilizing the latest AI capabilities and marketing technology.

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Experience managing a new corporate brand launch or re-brand. 
  • Experience leading public relations from a corporate perspective.
