  • Consult and collaborate with cross-functional and geographically diverse teams
  • Forecast, plan and manage workload and priorities to ensure high-quality work and internal employee satisfaction as it relates to firm-wide communication
  • Establish, manage, and ensure the usage of company-approved employee communications templates, policies, procedures, and guides
  • Craft messages and write communications that are detailed, accurate and concise, and tailored to the author, platform, and audience
  • Write in a variety of styles and formats
  • Develop engaging, grammatically correct content that reinforces the Solstice brand position, operating plans, and employee value proposition
  • Establish and manage ongoing measurement and reporting process to ensure employee communications are delivering greater overall value (ROI) for the organization
  • Develop, mentor, and coach coworkers
  • Foster high-performance outputs and ongoing skills and competency development
  • Help create a vibrant culture that attracts and retains the best talent
  • Engage with Forrester, Gartner and other business and technical analysts

Who You Are:

  • You have at least 5 years of internal communication experience
  • Prior management of employee communication programs, processes, and channels (intranet, Slack, webcast, video, etc.)
  • Experience managing company-wide calendars
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that can effectively engage employees and help them understand and foster the organization’s mission, vision, values, culture, goals, and strategies
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional entrepreneurial and relationship-building skills as you define and build the internal communications roadmap at Solstice
  • Ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track and on budget as priorities change
  • Ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of the corporate communication programs and its value to the company’s goals and strategic initiatives
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with an eye for grammar and consistency
  • Prior experience serving as a mentor or guide required; prior people management experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Degree in journalism, public relations, communications or related field required

We welcome Solsties to show up as their full selves every day. Because this is so important to us, Solstice is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
