The ideal candidate for a Corporate Communications Specialist would be able to do the following:

  • Innovate strategic corporate communications plans tailored to key audiences and aligned with Alto-Shaam’s strategic priorities and goals. 
  • Maintain a rolling calendar of personalized, planned corporate content executed across various channels (newsletters, emails, website, extranet, meetings, articles, etc.). 
  • Inspire change and drive awareness for organizational achievements and values through the creation of exciting, informative and actionable messaging guides. 
  • Apply change management processes and tools to communicate a strategy that supports the adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative. 
  • Collaborate with creative team to elevate corporate branded materials and templates.
  • Ensure framing of messages is consistent with organization's brand standards, strategic goals and change communication principles. 
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with project leaders to utilize as subject matter experts for communications messaging.
  •  Monitor channel effectiveness and engagement metrics to drive continuous improvement.

For a candidate to be successful as a Corporate Communications Specialist they must have:

  • 1-2 years of internal and/or external communications experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, public relations, or related field. 
  • Experience with change management communication preferred. 
  • Experience collaborating with senior leaders on communications. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently. 
  • Proficiency in updating and working in company intranet and website 
  • Content Management Systems (CMS). 
  • InDesign experience a plus.
