OVERVIEW:

The Sr. Manager, Human Resources and Corporate Initiatives is an exciting opportunity to lead executive communications planning and strategy for our Human Resources global function and key corporate initiatives. The primary aim in this role would be to increase employee engagement and drive awareness of both the HR function and enterprise center’s key priorities and strategies. This role partners closely with the Senior Director for Internal Communications and Employee Experience and several members of the HR leadership team, as the primary communications partner fordriving strategy, messaging, policies, project management, and activation for HR Communications to employees, as well as key enterprise-center initiatives.

This role will have a key focus and responsibility for driving Employee Engagement. In partnership with HR leaders and other functions, you will develop communications strategies that authentically inform and inspire employees in order to serve the business. You willbe responsible for communicating with key stakeholders like the HR Function or other partners. The position will report to the Senior Director of Internal Communications and Employee Experience with significant interaction with many HR leaders who need to communicate with large numbers of employees.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Partner with HR COEs and leaders to be a strategic partner in understanding their business objectives 
  • Responsible for creating messaging for our Global Chief Human Resources Officer 
  • Responsible for supporting strategy, planning and execution of employee/internal HR communications 
  • Partner with global function and project teams on HR-led and select-corporate initiatives, delivering effective communications creating messaging and materials, and providing regular, ongoing communications that are readily understood by employees at various levels 
  • Manage one direct report 
  • Serve as the communications liaison to our internal COVID-19 response taskforce 
  • This role will also focus on leading change and developing strategies and designing custom communication solutions 
  • Coordinate programs and activities across the internal communications team, as well as working with other areas within corporate communications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 7-10 years’ experience in employee/internal communication/change management communications with a strong preference for internal communications 
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills with solid business understanding 
  • Experience in account management and counseling project teams to conduct a variety of assessments (e.g., audience needed for desired outcome, change readiness, stakeholder analysis) to develop strong communication plans 
  • Ability to influence Executive leaders with communication plans to meet the business including experience building relationships across functions and reporting levels 
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects and tight deadlines is critical for this role 
  • Strong writing skills in simplifying complex materials

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Multi-media experience in creating/writing videos, newsletters, meetings, and presentations is strongly preferred 
  • Creative and highly motivated self-starter who is focused on delivering compelling communications 
  • Analytical Mindset – Conducts ongoing thoughtful analysis and uses sound judgement to translate insights into integrated and actionable solutions to better serve the business 
  • Demonstrates comfort around leading change and developing strategies and designing custom communication solutions
