The Corporate Events Specialist is responsible for supporting our Marketing organization and Daikin’s position as the premier HVAC solutions provider in our industry. While this role supports the full marketing team, its primary functions are on the Events team, reporting the Senior Manager of Corporate Events.

The Corporate Events team is responsible for creating events specific to Daikin Applied’s Reps and their customers. This flexible-work role will office at Plymouth Headquarters one day per week (Tuesday), Faribault North plant during customer visits, and remote work from home on remaining days.

A Day in the Life:

  • Trade Shows: Maintain asset inventory software with 3rd party vendor including promotional displays; maintain intranet updates that reflect tradeshows. Support Daikin Representatives in renting exhibit assets for trade shows.
  • Customer Visits: In person management of customer visits at hosting plant; plan and collaborate visits at any of the MN factories by scheduling sales team members, product experts, and plant managers; maintain the technology and condition of the Customer Experience Center Showcase; maintain inventory of customer promotional items; maintain intranet updates that reflect the MN factories. This role is also responsible to evaluate and submit Rep visit reimbursements by following published protocol.
  • Corporate Apparel & Promotional Items: Manage the corporate apparel sourcing and fulfillment. Coordinate with vendors and 3rd party partners, customize branded goods, place orders, manage inventory.
  • Customer Events: Support the excellent execution of 50 – 1,500 participant events nationwide as needed. Coordinate shipment of meeting materials to and from meeting destination, manage event inventory.
  • Marketing support: Manage and order office supply inventory, provide administrative support to marketing and communications work streams as needed. 
  • Maintain basic knowledge of Daikin’s products and solutions.

What you will Bring:

  • 1-3 year’s customer service experience, preferable in the events field. 
  • 4-year degree preferred 
  • Office admin a plus
