We’re looking for a communications professional who can take projects and run with them, has a knack for distilling complex info into understandable and engaging messaging, can strike the right balance between strategic and creative thinking, and is comfortable working with leaders at all levels. In Corporate Brand, we:
- Tell Allstate’s iconic story and bring the voice of Allstateto life through internal and external strategic communications.
- Know the business and work closely with leadersto strengthen Allstate’s reputation, strategy and culture.
- Provide world-class communications counselto advance issues and initiatives important to our stakeholders – employees, customers, consumers, agency force, investors, policy makers and opinion leaders.
This role will mimic a media relations guru at a PR agency – finding story ideas within the business and creating a vision for sharing those stories with consumers through national media outlets. You’ll connect with national reporters and producers and maintain those relationships to help tell our stories.
Maintaining relationships will be key and you’ll have the freedom to create those connections. Sure, there’s some news release writing involved, but not nearly as much as there used to be. We’re storytellers and we want someone who is ready to help jump in and build our story with us – engage senior leaders and facilitate media interviews to land national coverage. Are you in?
