Corporate Social Responsibility Intern - Summer 2021.

Shure offers a challenging and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve week program is offered to undergraduate students that have completed at least 2 years of college, as well as graduate students. Each intern will receive a competitive salary and students who reside out of Illinois will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Intern will report into the Global Corporate and Government Relations Division. This position will be full time (40 hours per week), and based out of the Niles Corporate Headquarters.

Responsibilities:

The primary projects for this internship include:

• Assist in development of a global strategy for our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program 
• Support ongoing CSR projects, both internal and external 
• Research potential future CSR projects 
• Serve as a resource for Shure Associates seeking to learn more about volunteering, donations, and other ways to become more involved in CSR efforts

Other duties may include:

• Support of internal Corporate Communications staff 
• Support for Corporate Archives projects

Intern must have undergraduate or graduate level coursework in business, nonprofit management, communications, public relations, education, marketing, or a related area.
