Direct Supply is building the future of senior living technology, helping connect the spectrum of healthcare in order to improve the lives of millions of seniors. In the Creative & Digital Marketing Intern position, you’ll collaborate with our creative and marketing teams as they build and manage digital marketing campaigns that drive industry innovation. Your focus will be supporting internal and external marketing and communications, including content marketing planning and production, digital asset development (i.e. social, email, blog, websites, etc.) and creative production.

This intern position is year-round, accommodating a part-time schedule during the school year and a full-time schedule during breaks and summer. This may also lead to full-time employment upon graduation.

What You’ll Do and Impact:

  • Assist with content creation, design and deployment. 
  • Help build SEO content briefs that identify content gap opportunities and validate calendar topics. 
  • Assist the content team with evaluating and refreshing content using SEO and UX writing best practices. 
  • Assist with production and styling for shoots. 
  • Work within a variety of creative programs, including Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Help maintain website, blog, social media and internal channels. 
  • Other projects as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in marketing, design or a business field, preferably with two or more semesters before graduation. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing methodologies and tactics, including advertising, email and web marketing, social media, public relations, etc. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Familiarity and/or experience with SEO and UX. 
  • Familiarity and/or experience with content marketing 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Self-motivated possessing the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop. 
  • Experience with WordPress. 
  • Familiarity and/or experience with website optimization best practices (page speed, Core Web Vitals, etc.). 
  • Ability to work part-time during the school year, approximately 20-30 hours per week; full-time during breaks and summer. 
  • Ability to work remotely as needed.

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Familiarity with content management systems, SEO tools (SEMRush, Moz, etc.) and email service providers. 
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Power BI. 
  • Previous intern experience. 
  • Previous marketing experience.
