As the Creative Brand Designer at Klein Tools, you will play a key role in developing and executing high-quality visual assets that bring our brand and product stories to life across digital, print, in-store, and multimedia platforms. Reporting to the Manager, Brand Creative, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate strategic marketing objectives into compelling design solutions that align with and evolve Klein Tools’ brand identity.

This role will focus on integrated creative across all channels to support cohesive brand storytelling—from packaging and retail to digital, social, and experiential. With a strong eye for detail, a passion for craft, and a pulse on emerging design trends, you’ll contribute to both the ideation and execution of creative campaigns that connect with our audience and strengthen our market presence.

  • Translate creative direction and campaign concepts into on-brand visual designs for a variety of marketing touchpoints, including packaging, retail signage, social media, digital ads, emails, video, trade shows, and product launches.
  • Support the Manager, Brand Creative by developing assets that align with the overarching creative vision and campaign strategy, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders including Product Marketing, Digital, Sales, and Studio teams to execute creative deliverables that meet project goals, timelines, and brand standards.
  • Contribute to creative ideation sessions and brainstorming meetings; proactively bring fresh, strategic design ideas to the table.
  • Work hands-on with photo editing, layout, and asset production for both digital and print executions, ensuring all work maintains high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Assist in supporting photo shoots, preparing mood boards and storyboards, and partnering with Studio and A/V teams to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Maintain organized, production-ready files for internal and external teams, ensuring consistency across formats and usage.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and techniques to keep creative work fresh and competitive.
  • Take direction and feedback constructively, and iterate design concepts efficiently with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of design experience in an agency or in-house marketing team environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work across branding, digital, print, and campaign design.

Skills & Competencies:

  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with After Effects or motion tools is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Figma, Monday.com, and digital asset management tools (e.g., Bynder) is a plus.
  • Excellent typography, layout, color theory, and composition skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and levels of seniority.
  • A passion for storytelling, visual problem-solving, and elevating brand expression.
  • Basic photo/video capture and editing skills

This role has an annual salary range of $65,000-$75,000. In addition to salary, you’re eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Klein Tools Inc. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and location.
