As Creative Content Director, you'll be a key marketing leader responsible for owning, managing, and enforcing exceptional and effective content development efforts, enterprise wide. You’ll work closely with marketing partners and content strategy to ensure strong content development is delivered through insightful and compelling storytelling.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Indirect oversight of a team of writers that will develop and execute a robust range of campaigns and content across multiple channels 
  • Create a best-in-class in-house capability that will serve the creative content needs across the enterprise 
  • Work with Marketing Team(s) to assess content needs and partner on messaging strategies 
  • Promote strong storytelling as a way to engage and interact with all audiences 
  • Help create and manage our brand voice – continually evolving based on industry and customer needs 
  • Ability to lead, coach, inspire and motivate a team to create and deliver truly remarkable, influential and impactful work 
  • Train outside partners and review their work to ensure content is on-strategy, compelling and follows brand guidelines - consistent with brand voice, style and tone 
  • Ability to present creative rationale at the executive level

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field 
  • 8+ years’ experience in agency or in-house agency 
  • Experience working on B2C and B2B campaigns and content 
  • Ability to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision 
  • Strong influencing skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
  • Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports 
  • Team oriented: ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams 
  • Clear, compelling and persuasive long and short-form writing skills.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Masters Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field 
  • Proven experience in building innovative, proactive, high impact content for campaigns using all relevant channels and media 
  • Experience in health care and CPG industries
