Position Details

Creative Content Strategist
Southeast Wisconsin
Sussex or Remote, WI

30 years ago, we started a revolution. Today, our focus is on evolution. We are currently undergoing a complete rebranding and are on the hunt for a creative, SEO-savvy wordsmith to drive the copywriting of our client marketing campaigns and to help us define the way that we share our unique story and position our solutions.

We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with a serious passion for research. Someone who can plunge head first into complex concepts and information, and emerge with clear, concise and compelling messages for a variety of audiences and mediums. Our ideal candidate is not only a highly-developed short and long-form copywriter, but someone who can leverage SEO, SEM and other lead-generation tactics to build and execute our content strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for the copywriting and proofreading of all patient-facing marketing projects and campaigns, including print and digital deliverables 
  • Concept, research and write materials to support the organization specifically in the area of product development, recruitment and general thought-leadership for the purpose of gaining and retaining business while building awareness and perception of the QuadMed brand
  • Partners with Brand Strategy leader to develop keyword-driven content strategy to increase qualified traffic to the website(s) and landing pages through SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, video, integrated campaigns, and other lead generation and traffic driving strategies 
  • Partners with Brand Strategy Leader in execution of website redesign, including copywriting, content management and launch 
  • Assists in the creation, management and optimization of content across online communications channels, including but not limited to the company website, patient portal websites and social media channelsCreates and leads an overarching content strategy for social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and maintains the content on those channels 
  • Writes short-form and long-form content tailored to various audiences including potential patients, patients, QuadMed employees, customers and potential customers 
  • Tracks, reports and analyzes content marketing initiatives and campaigns including web site visits, click rate, call to action response, etc. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with sound judgement related to the representation of the QuadMed name and brand


  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English or another related major


  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a content strategy role
  • Demonstrated experience with WordPress or other Content Management Systems (CMS) required
  • Experience with Workamajig or other similar project management system preferred Knowledge,

Skills & Abilities:

  • Highly developed copywriting skills with the ability to create clear, consistent, compelling messaging for a variety of platforms/mediums
  • Thorough understanding and demonstrated knowledge of digital/social marketing, including SEO and SEM 
  • Strict attention to detail with high confidence in self-editing and editing others’ work
  • Ability to effortless shift between writing styles and formats, including short-form and long-form writing 
  • Demonstrated ability in basic graphic design (strong eye for print and web design)
  • Understanding of web analytics and keyword research tools, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc. 
  • Demonstrated comfort with data analysis and the ability to drive decisions through data 
  • Ability to execute and implement projects with minimal guidance
  • Strong familiarity with AP Style
