The Digital Designer is responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies, including the design, deployment and maintenance of all digital marketing materials across all digital channels. The project scope ranges from individual tactics to large-scale web-based initiatives.

The role of Digital Designer must have excellent skills in working with a cross functional group of marketers, designers and outside vendors. This role must have interactive design sensibilities and can translate how designs change under different user scenarios on an array of devices. The successful candidate will be able to quickly understand business, technical and design needs in order to create effective web page design solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications; expertise in Photoshop
  • Focused ability to perform in a rapid creative execution environment
  • Able to conceptualize multiple creative options against set objectives
  • Have a comfortable knowledge in executing in a CMS platform
  • Excellent organization and communication skills for collaborating with internal and external partners and vendors
  • A firm understanding of designing for mobile first desired
  • Professional, team player with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the Art Director, copywriter and graphic designers to execute marketing materials
  • Motivated self-starter to manage workload, meet deadlines and assume lead role for assigned projects
  • Maintain an organized work schedule, attend department meetings, and manage multiple projects
  • Proactive in providing input to production schedules for streamlining web design process
  • A positive attitude and a flexible demeanor that enriches the team dynamic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with a strong online design portfolio highlighting creative examples of web related experience
  • Working knowledge of light CSS and HTML, as well as working in CMS applications a plus.
  • Candidates with familiarity in using Adobe Experience Manager given preference.
  • A solid understanding of designing for a responsive environment where users engage with multiple devices
