ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Creative Director is responsible for bringing corporate strategy to life through groundbreaking multi-channel work for top brands in our corporate communications practice. Directing a team of designers, art directors, writers, and producers – as needed – best-in-class vendors. Our ideal candidate will be a highly creative thinker who strives to reach many audiences by creating breakthrough communications and transformative experiences that shift people’s thinking and behavior.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver innovative, creative solutions, communications, and experiences for our corporate clients’ needs, including both internal and external audiences. 
  • Develop impactful and inspiring work that aligns with a client’s brand guidelines but still stands out among the noise. 
  • Identify the success metrics for creative approaches and highlight their impact while identifying avenues for further enhancement. 
  • Take a leading role with clients, adept at energizing audiences and offering a credible point-of-view, particularly with C-suite executives and internal stakeholders. 
  • Understand the client’s brand and category to develop work that drives their brand’s mission, vision, and values. 
  • Collaborate with account teams to direct brand-building ideas, foster awareness, and engagement to effectively realize clients' business objectives. 
  • Develop and deliver creative ideas founded in insights across all activations for client briefs and new business pitches. 
  • Work with external agencies and partners (i.e., graphic designers, production companies, print vendors, etc.) as required to visualize and bring ideas to life through implementation. 
  • Works closely with senior account leads to drive projects from ideas to activation, ensuring high-quality deliverables are achieved on time and within budget constraints. 
  • Keep up to date with innovative creative work across industries; share internal and external best practices with colleagues, inspiring others to be more creative and think in new ways to engage both internal and external audiences. 
  • Lead all areas of the creative process including design, writing, art direction, and production – within new business and for existing client’s business. 
  • Identify, nurture, and sell-in impactful concepts while serving as the cohesive team lead of designers, art directors, copywriters, and other creative professionals while driving them to execution. 
  • Proactively educate and push forward the corporate creative capabilities internally by mining for opportunities within existing clients’ businesses.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination before start date. Candidates may request accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or an exception required under applicable law. 
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting. 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or Advertising. 
  • Mastery of PowerPoint and ability to push the program’s capability. 
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.) 
  • Willingness to travel on occasion for client meetings and productions. 
  • Proficient in crafting and delivering presentations to not only sell ideas but also to cultivate and expand client relationships, with a knack for articulating smart and often complex solutions in a simple, straightforward manner. 
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Winning attitude and skillset that builds effective interpersonal relationships with and successfully navigating matrixed organizations. 
  • Proven track record of winning new clients across multiple industries. 
  • Full understanding of production through multiple channels, including print, collateral, web, mobile, experiential, and existing internal platforms. (e.g.: intranets, communication apps). 
  • Possess a comprehensive grasp of both the role that PR and social media play in the overall communications marketing mix, as well as an in-depth understanding of brand management. 
  • Knowledge of web design & development, digital tools and platforms, and/or animation is a huge plus.
