We are in search for the ideal candidate to pave the way in this newly created role. The Creative Director is the keeper of the Aparium brand, ensuring that all activities at the Aparium and hotel-level align with our brand vision and positioning. He or she is able to see beyond the norm and the intellectual curiosity to know what’s next in the market. Forward thinking and innovation are key. This position is also responsible for cultivating and curating unique corporate level partnerships and vendor relationships.

We are looking for someone that is highly creative in their leadership style, has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and lead a diverse team, vendors and partners. The ideal candidate has examples of how they have disrupted the norm.

In this position, the Creative Director also oversees the brand standards of Aparium and our hotels. He or she leads the art direction and design of brand collateral, website maintenance, and new property materials.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain graphic standards and brand guidelines for the Aparium and hotel brands for internal associates and external partners 
  • Develop and influence hotel collateral 
  • Manage the creative budget to ensure all activities fall within scope 
  • Stay on top of creative and graphics trends; share recommendations with team 
  • Manage creative agencies as opportunities arise

Of course there are a few other things that we think are important for this role…

  • Degree or applicable functional expertise
  • 10+ years in a similar role
  • Hospitality experience is not required…in fact we would prefer someone from outside the industry!
  • Experience with branding and marketing
  • Excellent leadership and problem solving skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations to the team and various vendors and partners
