Role:

This detail-oriented creative lead will be responsible for achieving marketing goals through the development of visual design to educate and advise member, the public and staff about the credit union. Is a key member of the Marketing department and is responsible for preparing print and digital marketing collateral, and assisting on department and organizational-level projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives creative concept development and execution for a variety of monthly marketing campaigns for print, digital, including advertisements, annual reports, brochures, direct mail pieces, logos, newsletters, posters, emails, video social media promotional merchandise and more. 
  • Creative responsibility for developing concepts tailored for the appropriate platform such as digital display, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, email, etc. 
  • Work on numerous projects at once, in a fast-paced environment often under demanding deadlines. 
  • Create dynamic visual assets such as animation and illustration. 
  • Ensure all creative aligns with brand standards and assist with the growth and development of the brand. 
  • Assist with the development of organizational instructional materials. 
  • Research products and/or services to positively impact design ideas. 
  • Stay connected to new technology and trends in design and bring those learnings in house to share. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with coworkers and management; courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Capable of taking direction and critique in a professional manner; cross functional collaboration and active listening skills; positive creative energy and ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and anticipate workflow; show persistence in creative problem-solving and continuing to strive to make creative better.

Other Skills: Software requirements: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; attention to detail; excellent organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication with a meticulous eye for detail; knowledge of four-color, spot, and digital printing processes and pre-press requirements.
