Your Role at Baxter

This is where your ideas lead to success

As the Creative Marketing Manager based in Deerfield you will determine the creative design strategy for external-facing Business Unit (BU) marketing collateral and campaigns and is responsible for a team working to bring to life the vision that will ensure the success of a product.

You will spearhead the creation and execution of marketing assets across the team that resonate with our target audiences; ensuring that the product/service appeals to existing/prospective customers through engaging design and content.

By keeping an eye on the competition through competitive analysis both within B2B healthcare channels and in B2C messaging, you'll understand consumer behavior and market trends, and will help effectively build the narrative of our brand as told through multichannel marketing comms.

Your Team

Working with the teams to craft, plan and deliver a strategic vision for BU level creative identity as tied to corporate brand identity, with a focus towards laddering up to corporate identity and across 3 legacy BUs comprising Connected Care Solutions (CCS) to tell a “Better Together” creative story.

Work with the in-house videographer to deliver a strong pipeline of video needs across the BU, with a focus on an effective GTM video strategy for all channels in partnership with the CCS Digital Marketing Manager.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop CCS product market share and brand growth through the right strategies and new design layouts and approaches as measured by market research and brand awareness metrics.
  • Integrate with an in-house digital team consisting of digital manager, senior platform comms specialist, social media specialist, and contract copywriting to build an efficient in-house agency model for internal partners.
  • Responsible for supervising the design layout and visual impact of marketing materials, products or publications.
  • Works in partnership with the Digital Manager and marcomm leads to establish content strategy with a focus on tone, strategic brand positioning in content.
  • Lead and review the work of the team for all web, print, and digital marketing collateral.
  • Planning and coordinating the development of paid advertising.
  • Heading BU brand campaigns, including submitting ideas for projects and being responsible for the development of all creative content.
  • Communicating project information, including deadlines and budgets, to executives and clients.
  • The role will travel to video and photo shoots up to 25% of the time, with ability to flex participation virtually up to an additional 15% of the time.

What you'll bring

  • BA in Marketing/Communications along with Digital Marketing platform certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years experience supervising/ developing team members.
  • 7-10 years experience with creative design development and project execution.
  • Up-to-date with new marketing trends.
  • Ability to think creatively and work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Strong leadership and project management
  • Great at multi-tasking and delegating.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 - 143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
