Want to help set the standard for in-house creative excellence at Pentair? Our Industrial & Flow Technologies Segment is looking for a Creative Manager with a passion for creative design and development processes to lead and mentor a team of graphic and production designers based in New Brighton, MN and Noida, India. You’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of creative development and production of content projects in support of demand campaigns, growth initiatives, customer journeys and other content experiences to help engage and build brand equity with customers across a variety of vertical markets, distribution channels, products, and services.

This position will report to the Segment’s Content Marketing Leader, and your creative problem solving, project management and attention to detail will help us deliver high quality creative experiences on-time and on-budget. Plus, you’ll be a champion of the Pentair brand guidelines and will be responsible for providing creative direction to ensure any in-house or outsourced creative developed within Industrial & Flow Technologies is worthy of representing our brand. Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide expertise in the Pentair Brand Standards and provide professional creative direction to the Industrial & Flow Technologies content team and vendors 
  • Establish best practices for Industrial & Flow Technologies creative in an effort to streamline our Project Management and File Structure 
  • Develop the Industrial & Flow Technologies creative team members including two graphic designers and a production designer for personal growth as well as continued development of creative design competencies 
  • Manage related projects and workflows; this includes being able to communicate in a transparent manner, assign projects to creative team members and track capacity, prioritize creative projects, meet deadlines, and deliver projects within prescribed budgetary guidelines. 
  • Keep up-to-date on emerging & current creative design and media trends as well as best practices. 
  • Perform other tasks and duties, as assigned. 
  • Travel up to 15%

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related discipline. 
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel). 
  • Proficiency in asset management repositories such as AEM and Adobe Creative Cloud 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to see projects through from concept to completion. 
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects. 
  • Must have a good eye for layout, typography and other design details 
  • Ability to lead by influence, inspire team members and drive results 
  • Ability to work independently, in teams and with agency/vendor partners in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment 
  • Experience with a Project Management software (i.e. Workfront, InMotion, etc.) 
  • Portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking, attention to detail and a variety of print and digital design 
  • 5-7 years experience in a design role 
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C creative design

Desired Qualifications (would like to know, but not required for the role):

  • Experience with photography and videos. 
  • Writing or copywriting experience. 
  • Experience working with remote teams
