This position is the voice of the Capri brand and will be responsible for delivering corporate and local creative that embodies the brand and builds awareness at every Capri community location. This position is responsible for designing, creating and delivering marketing collateral to support expansion and growth of the company services and products. This is a highly interactive, hands-on position that will influence all levels and programs within the corporate structure, the residents we serve and the communities where we do business. The right candidate will wear a lot of hats and be asked to do a variety of jobs associated with the production and delivery of various marketing materials.

  • Graphic Design - Ability to create unique graphic design that reflects corporate branding and “Enjoy Life” tagline. Design voice must be clear and consistent across all platforms including print and digital media. Use knowledge of graphic design software to produce art and visual materials for sales and marketing applications such as brochures, print and digital advertisements, social media, direct mail, signage and presentations.
  • Management of Creative Process - Requires excellent organizational skills, coordinating and executing creative needs for growing company including 19 individual communities, each with unique messaging and creative needs. Multi-tasking skills and efficient productivity are key to success. Ability to manage to deadlines and provide ample time for internal feedback
  • Communication - In addition to regular communication with Sr. Director of Marketing, VP Sales, Sales Associates and other Marketing team members, this individual must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to assess and deliver creative requests in a timely manner.
  • Brand Management - Understands branding to ensure that all marketing materials support company mission, brand positioning and guidelines.
  • Collateral Creation - Prepare and determine layout for promotional and informational materials including brochures, folders, flyers, merchandise and presentations.
  • Finalize Projects - Prepare artwork for print (add bleeds, embed images and fonts). Create PDFs vector art or format needed by printer. Save on internal server in multiple formats.
  • Relationship Management - Manage print and vendor relationships for print materials, gifts and various forms of merchandising from ordering through execution. Communicate lead times, project specifics, tax exempt details where necessary. Handle new vendor set-up
  • Direct Mail execution - Understands creation, geographic targeting, and execution. Secure mailing lists. Make sure projects meet USPS guidelines. Coordinates the ordering and distribution of marketing materials to the field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design or marketing with a minimum of two year’s experience performing a similar role
  • Must possess strong creative, organizational, project and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills – written and verbal
  • Demonstrated knowledge of visual design principles and software including In Design, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated knowledge of print process (initial concept, pre-press, final printing) and have ability to manage and organize in-house printing projects
  • Understanding of Direct Mail execution
  • Requires attention to detail, strong organizational competence and the ability to coordinate multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Must expect and embrace frequent interruptions and flex to professionally respond to unexpected requests
  • Must be self-directed with strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop innovative approaches to challenging requests
  • Team-player mentality that is energized by the creative process and working with a variety of constituents
