The Creative Producer is responsible for managing and producing creative assets including but not limited to photography, video, animation, podcasts, radio and brand presentation assets. This role serves to assist the Brand & Creative team archive their creative intent, think operationally about our process and spend, and to provide a very proactive, service-minded approach to creative productions.

Planning, shooting, post-production/retouching through to final delivery, including budget management, scheduling, shot list development, vendor sourcing, talent negotiations, retouching management, and asset delivery in our digital asset management system will be expectations of this role. This role also incorporates project management, product knowledge and an understanding of the creative process. This position works in partnership with the creative team and external vendor partners.

Accountabilities:

  • Work with internal marketing & communications team and outside creative resources and producers to schedule, estimate and manage projects including but not limited to still photography, video, audio, digital and social content, collateral, and print. 
  • Partner with creative director, art directors, designers and/or writers, and collaborate with other producers to develop concepts that support creative goals. 
  • Work with internal and external partners that could include production companies, photographers, videographers, editors, talent agencies, recording studios, post-production companies, music houses, animators, etc. 
  • Work with and set project schedules/timelines. Ensure timelines are followed and manage expectations around delays. Seek ways to improve process and workflow across teams. 
  • Facilitate project-related team meetings (i.e. kick-offs, status, internal/client reviews, etc.), communicating action steps, related to creative products and outputs. Ensure all stakeholders have project status reports. 
  • Prioritize a multitude of tasks around content shoots, including coordinating all elements of the project such as talent, shoot logistics, support crew, etc. 
  • Participate in casting, location scouting, travel, and pre-production and post-production scheduling. 
  • Update and communicate photography, video and audio usage rights to internal teams including asset librarians and key stakeholders. 
  • Request and negotiate project estimates with external vendors and validate invoices against agreed upon rates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree in marketing, fine arts or business, or relevant experience. 
  • 2-4 years of creative production or project management experience. 
  • Customer service approach to both internal customers and vendors. 
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Valid driver’s license, as position requires travel to vendor locations. 
  • In-depth knowledge of production and post-production workflows for photography, video (live action and animation), and audio production, including file specs, file types, and the creative and concepting process. 
  • Some familiarity and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of creative production experience. 
  • General understanding of business affairs and legal parameters surrounding all types of creative production including but not limited to licensing, usage rights and negotiating best practices associated with talent, music, photography, copyright and SOW/Contract language. 
  • Experience with Workfront or a similar workflow management tool. 
  • Basic understanding of health care industry and marketplace. 
  • People management experience. 
  • Familiar with Adobe Experience Manager.
