PerBlue is searching for our next Creative Production Assistant to join our growing art team. The successful candidate will assist in the production art pipeline and project management for our mobile games. We’re a quickly growing independent studio whose free-to-play mid-core mobile games have been played by millions of people around the world, including our award winning Disney Heroes: Battle Mode game. Our cross-functional and collaborative team brings experience from across the industry to our studio in Madison, Wisconsin for an unmatched quality of life and work.

As our ideal candidate, you'll have a couple of years' experience as a project management professional in a fast-paced, hectic videogame, software development, or marketing environment. You'll also have an interest videogame development and a tenacious eye for product quality. You'll crave organization, process, and checklists. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be effective at juggling concurrent products, pipelines, and releases, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

You'll assist the Creative team by ensuring that creative game assets are ready for integration into our games, and that our processes in creating those assets run smoothly. If you’re detail-focused and highly organized and have an interest in learning about the creative processes behind making awesome mobile games, we’d like to hear more from you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in project management tasks related to task creation, asset tracking, asset organization, and scheduling 
  • Creating, organizing and maintaining the projects’ documents and asset filing systems. 
  • Monitor the projects’ schedules in order to relay any necessary information about the projects’ status to personnel both on and off the internal team. 
  • Preparing asset specifications 
  • Organizing and scheduling art team building activities 
  • Creative asset quality control

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of project management software, processes and practices 
  • Experience in positions where you’ve juggled multiple projects and priorities 
  • Close attention to detail, process driven, and results-focused 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet organization and creation 
  • Self motivated, with a strong desire to learn new things 
  • Love of games and interest in game development pipelines 
  • Willingness to step in and help where needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with JIRA or other project management toolsets 
  • Familiarity with Google Suite applications 
  • Previous experience or education in Production Assistance or Quality Assurance for game dev or creative fields
