Job Overview:

TMA is looking for a Creative Resource Coordinator to support TMA’s State Farm Creative team. The Creative Resources Coordinator will manage TMA’s State Farm creative talent resources. They will help coordinate the day-to-day creative needs.

You have an eye for good, creative work and talent. You have agency experience and understand the workflow and communication process between client, account management, creative, and production, in all medias. You are an organized, intuitive, and passionate person who will play a pivotal role in keeping the agency’s work moving forward—and helping us achieve Creativity That Matters across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster an environment where a culture of creativity and originality is encouraged. 
  • Assess incoming assignments to understand creative needs (scope of assignment, timing, and priority) 
  • Sort through information to identify opportunities, alternative approaches, or next steps. 
  • Evaluate the available creative resources (aptitude, workstyle, and workload) against creative needs. 
  • Review timelines and communicate feasibility with project managers and account team. 
  • Work with Creative Directors to assign the appropriate team members for creative assignments. 
  • Maintain creative resource PTO calendar. 
  • Attend briefings and schedule creative group meetings. 
  • Follow progress of assignments to understand project demands and team capacity 
  • Anticipate trends within the group and create innovative solutions. 
  • Continuously track projects, deliverables, and workloads. 
  • Identify potential issues such as resource and change control matters. 
  • Develop and maintain management system that manages schedules, workflow and offerings of internal staff, potential recruits, and freelance. 
  • Proactively engage with State Farm creative department to gain a meaningful understanding of unique skillsets, experience, and aspirations of the individuals within Agency creative department. 
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for the creative talent process and application for managing creative resources, as well as help implement these improvements. 
  • Facilitate weekly Creative Director meetings
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred but not required 
  • 2-5 years of agency experience in creative resource management or creative operations 
  • Proven mentoring and team-building skills 
  • Strong working knowledge of brand development, the creative processes, and integrated marketing, including broadcast, video, audio, print, and some aspects of experiential (sponsorship) and digital (content) 
  • Ability to provide timely and helpful feedback to keep deliverables on time 
  • Understand how to appeal to diverse cultural markets 
  • Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with internal teams 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills 
  • Strong business and personal ethics 
  • Self-motivation and possess the ability to motivate others to creatively and strategically problem under quick deadlines 
  • Experience managing projects, budgets, and schedules 
  • Comfortable in working in an environment of constant change and doing so with a positive attitude 
  • Must be able to work at least forty (40) hours per week (Monday – Friday) 
  • Must be able to sit for 6-8 hours per workday (Monday – Friday)
