The Creative Services Manager is responsible for serving as a steward of, and advocate for, Miron’s visual brand. This individual will oversee, and work in conjunction with, Miron’s graphic designer. He/she will manage workflow for creative services projects and be responsible for designing, creating, coordinating, producing, monitoring, and implementing marketing projects—print and digital, for various internal and external clients—as directed by the SVP, Marketing & Culture.

The role requires someone skilled at problem solving and translating marketing strategies into compelling and innovative brand and communication deliverables. The Creative Services Manager is highly motivated, enthusiastic, and has a positive, can-do attitude. This individual must enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment, and possess the skills necessary to work alongside a wide range of personalities. This individual must also maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry software and be able to react to ever-changing industry trends.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, coordinate, and monitor all approved marketing projects to assure project effectiveness and timeliness. 
  • Oversee and advocate for Miron’s graphic designer. Develop and assist with implementation of career-pathing plans and conduct bi-monthly coaching/career development sessions; to include use of StandOut platform. 
  • Manage workflow of creative/design projects. 
  • Conduct creative research to provide strategy and art direction. 
  • Manage and provide staff support for marketing communications and presentation materials, in alignment with the company’s brand and messaging standards. 
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, to include, but not limited to corporate website updates/user experience modifications, and the provision of graphic support for social media campaigns, internal communications, email signatures, digital signage, etc. 
  • Manage relationships with and coordinate the work of outside consultants/partners (photographers, videographers, web developers, etc.). 
  • Maintain assets and electronic source files in digital asset library. 
  • Workload will be approximately 50% creative and 50% production. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing or Advertising) or equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of graphic design and/or marketing. 
  • Individual must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be extremely organized, demonstrate strong attention to detail, be able to work independently but also exhibit a high level of customer service. 

Skills and Ability: 

  • Expert-level understanding of graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and all other Adobe Creative Cloud applications). 
  • This individual will be working in a Mac environment; therefore, substantial experience with Mac OS required. 
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, WordPress, and Google Analytics. 
  • Can manage design and direct print production. 
  • Experience with Wrike (or other workflow management software), Bananatag, MailChimp, Eventbrite, and Exclaimer a plus.
  • Experience with photography, video production and editing, and web design is also a plus.
