The Creative Visual Sr. Associate is a conceptual thinker who can translate ideas into captivating visual executions across digital (web and social), print, video and out of home assets. We are looking for a talented and self-motivated creative who can work independently as well as within a team to strategically concept, create and execute big ideas to engage our clients, prospects and people while creatively elevating our brand. They will spend their dayscollaborating closely with a team of Sr. Creatives and the Creative Manager and collaborating with the paid and organic Media Director to bring the verbal and visual expression of each asset and campaign to life, with opportunities and direct exposure to both the Head of Creative and CMO.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to interpret the creative assignment brief into design solutions; unafraid to be vocal about questions they need to understand the assignment, move forward and strengthen the creative strategically 
  • Understands that copy and visual works together to create unified, whole concepts that can stop thumbs in feeds and audiences in their tracks 
  • Collaborates closely with the creative writer to work with stakeholders, concept and bring a united verbal and visual expression to life 
  • Versatile in design; going beyond the obvious and contributing unique solutions for each assignment 
  • Champion their work and projects internally, by managing expectations and communicating why it works/provide rationale for their creative decisions 
  • Able to design across multiple mediums from print to digital (includes social, static and animated banner ads) as well as motion design and video 
  • Capable of building final electronic files according to specific vendor guidelines and instructions for prepress as well as paid media to ensure highest quality and most efficient processing of final art 
  • Support management of the paid media buy, helping to develop the creative rotation, release and traffick assets to media vendors 
  • Produce weekly TV creative report through third party and cite observations as well as proposed strategic amends in rotation as needed 
  • Guide and implement authority on visual / brand adherence and coordinates team policy relative to it, in concert with Visual Identity lead and Grant Thornton International 
  • Support adherence to project estimates, timelines and across media and production
  • Bachelors of Fine Arts degree or equivalent 
  • 5+ years of design or agency art direction experience, preferably in advertising and marketing 
  • Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) 
  • Knowledge or ability to learn Adobe XD or Adobe Edge (HTML, UI/UX) 
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects and Final Cut are a plus 
  • Working knowledge of MS (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage and own projects; strong independence and ability to manage deadlines, expectations and engage with appropriate stakeholders with minimal oversight 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; communicates well with all levels of management; comfortable advising and coaching colleagues in the firm and with agency partners, and selling in ideas to stakeholders 
  • Has a strong foundation in fundamentals of writing and communications
